Cancellation policy

How to cancel or change a booking, and when a charge may apply.

Updated 3 October 2026

Tell us as early as possible

Contact admin@earlycaresolutions.com or 0402 714 775 to cancel or change a booking. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled start time. We confirm the change and discuss a replacement booking if you want one.

Bookings with 48 hours or more notice

No cancellation fee applies when you give at least 48 hours’ notice. Any separately agreed, non-recoverable third-party cost for a training event must have been disclosed before booking and is considered separately, subject to consumer law.

Less than 48 hours’ notice or a missed booking

A charge of up to 50% of the agreed booking price may apply only where this policy was explained and accepted in your written agreement or quote before the booking. The charge is limited to reasonable unrecovered costs and cannot exceed the amount permitted under applicable law or NDIS rules.

We consider whether staff can be reassigned, the booking can be filled, and costs have been avoided. We do not charge twice for the same time or charge for travel or materials that were not incurred. Where a booking is partly delivered, we bill for the part delivered and assess only the remaining cancelled portion under this policy.

Additional conditions for NDIS-funded bookings

A cancellation is charged to NDIS funding only if the particular support item permits it, the applicable short-notice period and every claiming condition are met, and you agreed to the charge in advance. Our 48-hour policy does not override a stricter NDIS condition or create permission to claim.

Where required by NDIS rules, we must be unable to find alternative billable work for the relevant worker and must still be required to pay them. We use the applicable cancellation claim category and do not submit the cancelled booking as a delivered service. If a claim is not permitted, we do not automatically pass that fee to you personally.

We check the current NDIS pricing and claiming rules for your support and explain the relevant conditions in your agreement.

Illness, emergencies and circumstances outside your control

Please let us know if sudden illness, hospitalisation, an emergency or another circumstance outside your control prevents attendance. We consider these circumstances individually and may reduce or waive a charge. You do not need to put sensitive medical information into a website form to request a review.

When we cancel, or work cannot safely proceed

No cancellation fee applies when Early Care Solutions cancels a booking. We contact you as soon as possible and discuss another time or suitable alternatives. No fee applies where we postpone gardening or another service because weather or conditions make our work unsafe.

Cleaning, gardening and training

The same 48-hour notice and conditional fee of up to 50% apply to private cleaning, gardening and training bookings unless a different reasonable arrangement is clearly agreed in writing beforehand. For NDIS-funded home care, the NDIS conditions above also apply. Group training quotes identify any event-specific conditions before acceptance.

Questions or review of a charge

We explain any cancellation charge on your invoice. Contact admin@earlycaresolutions.com or 0402 714 775 if you would like us to review it. You can also use our complaints process. Nothing in this policy removes your consumer rights.
